AP Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to play a vital role in our financial operations. In this position, you won’t just process numbers—you’ll be the heartbeat of our cash disbursements, mastering cutting‑edge tools like SAP, Read Soft, and OnBase to ensure seamless invoice processing and vendor satisfaction. From coordinating banking relationships to partnering with internal teams like Tax and Treasury, your expertise will directly impact our daily success.

Salary: $22–$25 per hour.

Work hours:

8 AM – 4 PM.

Education:

Bachelor’s.

• Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, using Read Soft's invoice cockpit and in compliance with the Cash Disbursement Policy.
• Follow up with invoice approvers to ensure accurate and timely invoice approvals are being performed by our Read Soft Web Cycle users.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and questions from internal customers using Read Soft's invoice cockpit in SAP and the Web Cycle notes associated with those documents.
• Responsible for running payment proposals and processing and distributing checks.
• Coordinate banking relationships (transmission of positive pay files; processing voids/stop payments).
• Maintain records including scanning and indexing supporting documentation for cash disbursements in OnBase for minimal postings that are outside the scope of P2P (Read Soft).
• Bill intercompany accounts from non‑plant facilities.

• Associate’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of accounts payable or relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of accounts payable or relevant experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with high-volume transaction processing.
• SAP experience preferred.
• OnBase experience a plus.
• Ability to respond to inquiries from outside vendors and internal customers.
