We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for processing customer payments, maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring outstanding balances, and supporting collection efforts. Key Responsibilities

• Process and post customer payments, including checks, ACH transactions, wire transfers, and credit card payments.
• Generate and distribute customer invoices and account statements.
• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.
• Follow up with customers regarding past-due invoices and payment discrepancies.
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and customer accounts.
• Research and resolve billing issues, short payments, and unapplied cash.
• Maintain accurate customer records and account documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and accounts receivable reporting.
• Prepare aging reports and communicate collection updates to management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
