Administrative Assistant
Location: Oishei Children's Hospital, Buffalo, NY
Work Type: Full‑Time
Shift: 8 a – 4 p; 9 a – 5 p; 10 a – 6 p (scheduled) with rotation.
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Job Description: Performs a variety of complex administrative and secretarial functions to provide effective operational support for a Department Head, Administrator, or Director. The incumbent works independently, maintains confidentiality, and functions under general supervision.
Education and Credentials: High school required. Associate’s degree preferred.
Experience: 2–3 years’ experience; detailed knowledge of department and hospital rules, procedures, mission, and operations; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, internet and intranet functions, department‑specific software; ability to compose, type, proof, and file materials including correspondence, memos, reports, charts, PowerPoint slides, statistics, meeting minutes, and contracts.

Salary Range: $18.23 – $25.07 per hour. Wage will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, internal equity, and applicable collective bargaining agreement.
