Position: Technical Data Specialist Staff Development MSHC

Work Schedule: Days

Hours: 8a-4p Monday-Friday

Summary

Provides technical & administrative data support to the Catholic Health System Home Care Performance Improvement, Staff Development, and Clinical Resource Management Departments. Design & develop database systems & reports for tracking and trending purposes. Prepares correspondence, meeting minutes and reports, initiates/maintains filing system and coordinates meetings. Maintains HC data including but not limited to Strategic Healthcare Programs, OBQI, HC Dashboards, Home Health Compare, Patient Satisfaction, DOH, & policy & procedures.

Coordinates nursing student schedules, & Corporate Compliance Database. Design & distribute monthly agency Newsletter.

Responsibilities Education
  • AS Degree in Computer Science or Administrative Assistant preferred
Experience
  • One (1) to three (3) Years IT Experience preferred
  • One (1) to three (3) Years Health Care Related Administrative Assistant Experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
  • EMR experience required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skill set
  • Proficiency in Excel required
  • Proficient in extracting data from external data sources including: the Internet, Outcome Concept Systems, NRC Patient Satisfaction, IPRO, & CMS Home Health Compare website
  • Healthcare knowledge/experience preferred
  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and ability to use spreadsheets, databases, analytic software, statistical methods of compilation and report writing required
  • Knowledge of office equipment and supply ordering
