Position: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT INTERN

People Inc. is seeking motivated and professional individuals interested in gaining hands‑on administrative experience within a mission driven organization that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The internship provides valuable exposure to office operations, communication, scheduling, and administrative support functions in a professional healthcare and human services environment. It is a great opportunity for students or individuals looking to build professional office experience and workplace skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative and clerical support to assigned department staff.
  • Assists with filing, scanning, organizing and maintains electronic and paper records.
  • Completes data entry and special projects assigned.
  • Conduct basic internet research and information gathering.
  • Learn and follow agency policies, procedures, and professional expectations.
  • Collaborate with staff in a team‑oriented environment.
Qualifications
  • At least 16 years of age or older
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and email communication
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to communicate professionally and maintain confidentiality.
