Service Coordinator

A growing mechanical services company in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Service Coordinator to help manage the daily scheduling and coordination of commercial service work. This is a highly customer-facing role where your ability to communicate, stay organized, and think on your feet will make a direct impact every day.

No prior experience working with technicians is required. The team is committed to training the right person from the ground up - focusing on attitude, work ethic, and customer service mindset over technical background.

This is a full-time, in-person position offering a salary of $50,000-$55,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the daily schedules of commercial service technicians
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers requesting service
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding service needs and scheduling
  • Prioritize incoming service requests and adjust schedules throughout the day
  • Keep accurate records of service activity, scheduling updates, and customer communication
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, billing coordination, and job tracking
  • Identify scheduling gaps or conflicts and proactively help solve them
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Qualifications
  • Strong customer service experience required (restaurants, hospitality, retail, etc.)
  • Ability to stay calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills - especially handling high-pressure or urgent situations
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and sense of ownership in your work
  • Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and basic administrative tools
  • Interest in construction, mechanical systems, or hands-on industries is highly preferred
  • Motivated, dependable, and eager to learn
