Temporary Receptionist – Buffalo Office (July 2026 – November 2026)
The Bonadio Group is seeking a Temporary Receptionist for our Buffalo office. The role requires a genuine interest in clients, prospects, and visitors, ensuring all interactions with the firm are welcoming and professional.
Responsibilities- Consistently be present at the front desk and greet visitors promptly and professionally.
- Answer all incoming calls for the office and provide backup coverage for other offices as needed.
- Handle communications with internal personnel and external clients, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Provide enthusiastic, responsive service to all clients, visitors, and coworkers.
- Maintain an attractive reception area and conference rooms.
- Arrange alternative front‑desk coverage with administrative staff during anticipated absences, breaks, and paid time off.
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail and special services packages.
- Assist with picking up client documents, including confidential tax returns, and ensuring signing of e‑file forms.
- Assist other administrative staff with mailing projects and time and expense entry.
- Cross‑train new administrative staff on front‑desk responsibilities and provide backup assistance.
- Develop and maintain the technological skills required to function at peak efficiency and participate in training programs as required.
- Assist the Regional Coordinator with placing lunch and supply orders and other projects.
- Assist Regional Coordinator with submission of facilities tickets for building maintenance and manage conference room schedules.
- A minimum of three years of administrative or reception experience.
- A minimum of three years of proven customer‑service success.
- Knowledge of typical office methods and procedures, filing, scanning, telephone techniques, and office equipment.
- Strong business English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Summer: Monday–Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)
