Position: Project Coordinator for Overseas and Intercultural Programs

Position Summary

The University at Buffalo’s VPIE International Education Office welcomes applications for the position of Project Coordinator for Overseas and Intercultural Programs. The Project Coordinator will be stationed at the University at Buffalo and will play a key role in administering UOB’s overseas (Singapore-based) programs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage program student and academic records, including supporting course scheduling, monitoring student registration, evaluating transfer credit requests, and maintaining course records.
  • Manage course articulation processes and coordinate related matters with campus partners.
  • Maintain program communications: liaise with campus partners, visitors, and other stakeholders; collect, triage, and disseminate materials including course materials; manage the program website and departmental newsletter.
  • Coordinate program travel, provide reimbursement support, advise on related processes and regulations; manage non-salaried appointments, stipend and contractor payments, and support overseas and non‑citizen payments; provide other general business and operating support.
  • Provide logistical coordination for events, including scheduling and organizing activities.
  • Assist with other related projects and duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience; experience in office administration, student record administration, or academic and event scheduling is desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to use or learn a wide range of computer applications and systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Competence in using Peoplesoft software or similar student information systems and a working knowledge of MS Access database.
  • Experience working with international or intercultural education programs.
Salary

$55,000 - $60,000.
