Administrative Assistant II

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-level support to department leaders and professional staff, helping to coordinate priorities, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure departments run smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and enjoys working with a variety of people.
You will play an important part in supporting leaders and teams whose work directly contributes to patient care, research, education, and innovation. The starting annual salary for this position is $56,506 and this can include a full comprehensive benefits package.
In this role, you will:
- Provide administrative support to department leaders, including Chairs, Chiefs, Assistant Vice Presidents, and other professional staff
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, calendars, and department activities
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documents
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Help organize projects, events, and departmental initiatives
- Maintain records, files, and other important information with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with departmental communications and the flow of information across teams
- Support daily operations and help ensure priorities and deadlines are met
- Anticipate needs, solve problems, and help leaders stay focused on strategic goals

Required
Education and Experience:
- 1. Associate's degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time secretarial or related experience; or
- 2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time secretarial or related experience.

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
