Who we are looking for:

The Credit Application Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the efficient processing of applications and credit line modifications within the credit department. This role involves working closely with the sales team and customers to ensure that all necessary documents are accurately collected and submitted for review. The Credit Application Coordinator is responsible for reviewing application packages, verifying their completeness, and facilitating communication between the sales team and credit analysts to ensure a seamless workflow.

What you will do:
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and customers to receive and review application packages and credit line modification requests.
  • Ensure that all necessary documents and information required for credit assessment are included in the application package before submitting to credit analysts.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and analysts, facilitating the flow of information and documentation.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of application packages to identify any discrepancies or missing documents.
  • Communicate effectively with the sales team to collect any missing or additional required documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Accurately enter application data into relevant systems for tracking and reporting purposes to ensure underwriting SLA(s) are being met.
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed within established timelines to meet customer expectations and department goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies when processing applications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Generate reports on the status of applications and line modifications, highlighting any potential issues or bottlenecks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you will need:
  • High School or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ administrative, finance, or credit processing experience required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a service center environment is preferred.
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and relevant data entry software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
