Luxury Automotive Technician

Overview

Northtown Jaguar/Land Rover is currently looking for experienced, certified technicians in the following product lines:
Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes, BMW, or any other high-line experience.

Pay range of $45,000 - $130,000 per year is based on experience and certifications/trainings by manufacturers. All positions are a flat rate, hourly, position that equate to the pay range.

• Receive repair orders from Service Advisors and perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Communicate with the Parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required and inform Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
• Document all work performed.
• Road-test vehicles when required.
• Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean.
• Keep shop area neat and clean as well as be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times.

Full-time, 3 day rotating schedule: 7:30AM - 9:00PM (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday for one month and then Thursday/Friday/Saturday for the next month).

• A $10,000 sign-on bonus will be paid out to applicants who are at A level status and have luxury manufacturer training as well as a dealership background.
• The bonus will be paid out incrementally, beginning 90 days after start date. Specific schedule will be discussed during hiring process.

Standing for most/all of shift. Lifting up until 50 pounds, several times during each shift and use hoist/test equipment as needed. Stooping/Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling/Reaching/Twisting/Bending will be required throughout shift.
