Mid Level Automotive Technician - Kenmore, NY

Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician at Goodyear Auto Service Centers. Pay range is $17–$26/hr (base pay varies). Eligible for benefits including medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, sick and vacation time, and tire discounts.

• Diagnose technical issues and perform line technician services, including routine inspections, maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges, preventive maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
• Provide excellent guest service through clear communication and feedback.
• Document all work performed on repair orders.
• Report safety issues immediately to management.
• Promote teamwork and deliver timely, accurate guest care.
• Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

• Minimum 1 year automotive experience, including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventive maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and minimum 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Commitment to learning new technologies.
• Ability to review, analyze, interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• ASE Certification.
• Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
• Electrical, air conditioning, and fuel ignition experience.

Stores may be open 7 days a week, including weekends and some holidays.

• Line technician services, inspections, diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges, preventive maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
• Guest service communication, guidance, and mentoring of junior technicians.
