, the Assistant Director of Leadership Annual Giving – Health Sciences plays a key role in a cutting edge annual giving program designed to engage and grow the next generation of philanthropic supporters. This position focuses on delivering a first class philanthropic experience for donors connected to UB’s health sciences schools through personalized digital and in person engagement. The Assistant Director contributes directly to annual giving success while helping build a strong pipeline of future major gift support, making a meaningful impact on UB’s mission today and for the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Donor relationship management & outreach (portfolio of 600–800 alumni and friends with a focus on gifts of $1,000–$50,000)
  • Personalized digital & 1:1 engagement (high velocity outreach using email, video, CRM tools, and in person connections)
  • Fundraising & pipeline development (solicitation, stewardship, and referral of qualified major gift prospects)
  • Campaign execution & collaboration (partnering with Annual Giving, Alumni Engagement, Advancement Communications, and health sciences advancement teams)
  • Data driven activity & reporting (CRM hygiene, portfolio management, and performance tracking)
