Goodyear – Assistant Service Manager (Auto Service Center)

Pay range: $18.00–$23.00 per hour. Base pay may vary based on experience, skills and market location.

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will gain hands‑on experience at a Goodyear Auto Service Center while building strong guest relationships and delivering outstanding service. You will learn to manage the service department by scheduling associates, coordinating appointments, and organizing workflow to ensure quality work on time.

• Drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions, including tire and service sales.
• Build guest relationships and ensure satisfaction by acting as liaison between technicians and guests.
• Effectively manage the service department as needed.
• Contribute to the training and development of service department associates.
• Articulate all warranties, promotions and advertisements.
• Utilize tools provided to make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending and squatting.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an automotive service department.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No relocation is being offered for this position.
• Allowed to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• Previous management experience.
• Previous automotive service sales experience.

• Strong work ethic; independently motivated to produce results with limited influence from others.
• Hard worker, diligent in completing tasks and demonstrates responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication and teamwork.
• Ability to review, analyze, interpret information, identify problems and make decisions.
• Ability to read, understand and follow procedures and guidelines.
• Facility may be open 7 days a week, including weekends and some holidays.
• Ability to follow established safety policies and procedures.
