Moog Space and Defense Group has an important opportunity for a Repairs Program Administrator supporting our dedicated repairs value stream. This team pursues and executes aftermarket opportunities for military ground combat vehicles, naval systems, and missile applications. We're seeking a highly motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service while supporting critical defense programs.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Engineering, or another related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program administration, project coordination, contracts management, production control, order management, customer service, or a related field.
- Experience utilizing ERP and order management systems; SAP, MBS, CCRF, or similar systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional judgment, tact, and persistence when working with personnel across multiple organizational levels.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities and facilitate progress on assigned programs.
- Ability to travel up to 5%.
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, military, or highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
- Familiarity with federal procurement procedures and government contracting requirements.
- Understanding of intellectual property rights and associated contractual considerations.
- Experience supporting repair, overhaul, sustainment, aftermarket, or depot maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of export compliance requirements and international customer support activities.
- Experience working directly with military, government, or defense customers.
- Prepare proposals and quotations for repair, overhaul, and inspection activities based on inspection results of returned customer assets.
- Coordinate with customers to obtain authorization for repair work, pricing updates, and scope changes.
- Review, analyze, and acknowledge customer purchase orders to ensure alignment with Moog proposals and contractual requirements.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between customer contracts, purchase orders, and Moog proposals.
- Initiate, maintain, and manage repair job orders, sales orders, and associated documentation within company systems.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, logistics, and other functional teams to ensure resources are available to support timely execution.
- Maintain accurate files, records, logs, and status reports for all assigned repair programs and customer requirements.
- Manage pricing, terms and conditions, special instructions, and program-specific requirements.
- Coordinate shipping activities and prepare required certifications, export documentation, and customer-specific records.
- Support government and customer source‑controlled hardware requirements, including overseas shipments when applicable.
- Monitor repair program performance and proactively facilitate issue resolution to support delivery commitments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, providing timely and professional communication regarding program status, risks, and execution updates.
- Prepare internal and external program status reports highlighting schedules, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
- Maintain awareness of applicable government procurement regulations and contractual requirements.
- Support business growth by helping develop repair pricing proposals, execution plans, and customer solutions in partnership with Sales Managers and Proposal Program Managers.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted program administrator and customer advocate, ensuring repair opportunities are efficiently quoted, processed, executed, and delivered. Your ability to coordinate across functions, manage contractual requirements, communicate effectively with customers, and maintain accurate program oversight will directly contribute to customer satisfaction, business growth, and the successful execution of critical defense sustainment programs.
