Anastasi Trucking & Paving is a respected, second'generation, full'service site development and paving contractor serving Western New York since the late 1950s. We are seeking an experienced Paving Foreman to lead our asphalt paving crew. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the job site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Monday - Friday with seasonal Saturday availability
• Overtime as required by project demands

Key Responsibilities Asphalt / Paving Foreman:

• Crew Leadership:
  Direct and supervise a crew of 5 8 members (operators, laborers, andrakers), providing clear instructions and mentorship.
• Project Execution:
  Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and project specs toensure proper asphalt depth, slope, and compaction.
• Equipment Management:
  Oversee the proper use and daily maintenance of pavingequipment (pavers, rollers, skid steers, and distributors).
• Logistics & Scheduling:
  Coordinate the timing of asphalt deliveries to maintain acontinuous 'pull' and avoid cold joints.
• Quality Control:
  Monitor mat temperature, seam integrity, and surface smoothness toensure the final product meets company and client standards.
• Safety Compliance:
  Ensure all OSHA and company safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate daily logs, including material tickets, labor hours, and production quantities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Local Union Affiliation
• Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years in asphalt paving, with at least 2 years in asupervisory or 'lead man' role required
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of asphalt mix types, compaction techniques, and grade control.
• Communication: Strong verbal skills to coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• License: Valid drivers license (CDL Class A or B is a major plus).
