Augustus Services is a family-owned commercial facilities management and construction company supporting retail, restaurant, and multi-location businesses. We deliver construction, maintenance, and property solutions through a single point of coordination, helping commercial clients open, maintain, and run locations without disruption. We're looking for a detail-oriented Project Manager to help drive our repair & maintenance and capital project work from estimation through completion.
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, estimation, and execution of assigned repair & maintenance projects and capital projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and stakeholders simultaneously, and comfort working cross-functionally with internal staff, vendors, and clients. This is an in-person role based out of our office in Cheektowaga, NY.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prepare cost estimates and proposals for repair, maintenance, and capital improvement work, ensuring content is clear, accurate, compliant, and aligned with client needs
- Find, schedule, and coordinate subcontractors and onsite personnel for project execution, planning work around client operating hours, staff, and customer traffic — including after-hours, overnight, or off-peak scheduling when needed to minimize disruption
- Coordinate with internal staff to schedule onsite personnel, subcontractors, and materials for businesses across the continental United States
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear, up-to-date documentation and status updates
- Manage change orders and coordinate permitting and code compliance requirements with local jurisdictions as needed
- Track project budgets and timelines from kickoff through close-out, reviewing subcontractor invoices and escalating risks, delays, cost overruns, or scope changes to management
- Conduct site walkthroughs and visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- 2-3 years of project management experience, preferably in facilities management, construction, or a related field
- Experience with Service Channel a plus
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar)
- Strong cost estimation and budgeting skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills, self-starter who can work independently while keeping internal teams aligned
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and vendors simultaneously
The expected starting base salary for this role is $65,000–$80,000 per year. Individual compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
