We are seeking a Civil Project Manager to work at our Buffalo, New York location.

- Manage industrial and commercial construction projects from estimating and pre-construction through completion and closeout.
- Review bid documents, specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and project proposals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate and oversee excavation, demolition, concrete foundations, flatwork, and structural steel construction activities.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, procurement activities, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel while monitoring productivity, quality, and performance.
- Interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and shop drawings to support project planning and execution.
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, progress reports, and cost forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, quality standards, and The State Group's policies, including ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, conduct cost analysis, and drive projects to successful completion while meeting schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- 5+ years of construction project management and/or estimating experience.
- Experience managing industrial and commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of excavation, demolition, concrete foundations, flatwork, and structural steel construction.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings and specifications.
- Experience preparing estimates, quantity take-offs, project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts.
- Proven experience managing subcontractors, procurement activities, vendor relationships, and project contracts.
- Knowledge of building systems, including structural, building envelope, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and time-management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience managing projects ranging from service and maintenance work to large multi-discipline turnkey projects.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and quality management systems; ISO 9001:2015 experience is considered an asset.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
