Description
The responsibilities of the Quick Lube Service Advisor encompass the proper resolution of customer and vehicle-related concerns, maintaining a level of customer satisfaction that is at or above dealer standards, meeting pre-determined service sales objectives, and the thorough and accurate performance of designated administrative activities.
Occupational SummaryThe responsibilities of the Quick Lube Service Advisor encompass the proper resolution of customer and vehicle-related concerns, maintaining a level of customer satisfaction that is at or above dealer standards, meeting pre-determined service sales objectives, and the thorough and accurate performance of designated administrative activities.
ScheduleFull-time - 3 day rotating shift.
- This position is a 3 day shift, 7:30AM until 9:00PM, that rotates every 4 weeks.
- Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday for 4 weeks then Thursday/Friday/Saturday for 4 weeks
- Greet all guests with warmth, courtesy, and professionalism.
- Create an accurate Repair Order and verify all information for accuracy with the customer.
- Work with customers to address any concerns they may have, prior to receiving any scheduled work.
- Maintain CSI Index Rating
- Maintain a dealership-prescribed standard for hours per customer repair order written.
- Ensure that all documents are properly accounted for
- Understand and follow federal, state, & local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA, etc.
- Communicate with customers to determine the nature of the mechanical issue.
- Perform a walk around on every vehicle
- Provide estimates for labor and parts.
- Establish time promised.
- Follow up progress of each repair order during the day. Contact customer regarding any changes in the estimate OR time promised.
- Sell proper repairs and/or services responsive to customers needs, adhering to approved sales objectives.
- Fully utilize the computer system to aid in selling the maintenance services due on every vehicle.
- Carefully inspect every completed repair order. Ensure pricing accuracy (compare to estimate) and legibility.
- Document flat rate time or other required timekeeping according to the service department and/or manufacturers procedures.
- Perform other specific administrative functions as directed by service management.
- Handle inquiries regarding work in process and appointments.
- Participate in all training programs that are made available.
- Professional personal appearance
- Previous Customer Service/Sales Experience
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both verbal and written.
- Ability to operate smartphone, tablet, and/or PC.
- Ability to stand/walk for the majority of the work day
- Valid in-state drivers license.
