Position: Service Greeter - Full-time

Occupational Summary

Responsible for immediately greeting customers as they enter the dealership and directing them to the appropriate department, as well as ensuring an overall exceptional customer service experience.

Schedule

Full‑time 3‑day shift: 7:30 am – 9:00 pm, rotating every 4 weeks. Example schedule:
Mon/Tues/Wed for 4 weeks, then Thurs/Fri/Sat for 4 weeks.

Full‑time 5‑day shift:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 9:00 pm.

Essential Job Functions
  • Perform prior‑to‑opening tasks: checking early‑bird box, moving vehicles, checking/filling inventory levels of supplies, unlocking doors, etc.
  • Immediately greet all customers and direct them to the appropriate service advisor or team member.
  • Locate pre‑written repair order and confirm information with the customer.
  • Move vehicles where needed (e.g., moving car out of service drive into service parking after customer has dropped car off).
  • Monitor customer return times and proactively retrieve cars so that they are waiting for the customer in the service drive, ready to go.
  • Wash vehicles and/or wipe them down as requested and needed.
  • When loaner cars are returned, document all incoming mileage and walk‑around vehicle; report any damage and overall condition of loaner to TSMA; park loaner in customer parking.
  • Maintain service drive to ensure it is free of dirt, debris, and snow.
  • Inspect customer lounge, straighten up area, and refill coffee/snacks as needed.
  • File repair orders.
  • Road test vehicles.
  • Identify and remove new/used cars in service parking and move to correct location.
Qualifications
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to operate smartphone, tablet and/or PC.
  • Ability to be on your feet for the majority of the workday.
  • Valid in‑state driver’s license.
