Position Summary
The Ronald
E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program at the University at Buffalo (UB) seeks to hire a Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator, in collaboration with the Principal Investigator, is responsible for the successful execution of the program by coordinating and facilitating meaningful learning of program outcomes through student-centered advisement, counseling, and instruction aligned to the needs of graduate program admissions, as well as success in graduate school.
The Program Coordinator will encourage a culture of learning that values mutual responsibility and respect, life-long learning and professional ethics.

The Ronald
E. McNair Program is a federally funded TRIO program sponsored by the US Department of Education. The program is dedicated to excellence in scholarship and serves academically- talented, first generation and low-income undergraduate students as they plan their journey toward earning a PhD degree. The program staff work closely with participants as they complete their undergraduate degree requirements with the goal of increasing the attainment of PhD degrees by low-income, first generation college students.

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree from accredited institution in the sciences, student personnel, education, counseling, or related field and up to 2 years experience.
* Evidence of a strong commitment to mentoring and working with first generation undergraduate students
* Demonstrated skill in using technology as a management, assessment, and teaching tool.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree from accredited institution in the sciences, student personnel, education, counseling, or related field.
Physical Demands Salary Range $48,000 - $52,000 Additional Salary Information The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate. Work Hours
37.5 hours per week
