POSITION
The Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Pascal Mubenga, seeks qualified candidates for Grades 9‑12 summer school Regents Exam proctoring and scoring in Math, English Language Arts, Sciences, and Social Studies.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Proctoring on August 18 and/or August 19 (full day 7.25 hrs or hourly 3.5 hrs).
- Scoring on August 20, 21, and/or August 24 or until exams are scored based upon certification.
- Exact dates and times to be determined according to district needs and certifications.
- Proctoring:
Must hold a New York State teaching certification. Selection priority given to permanent, tenured, probationary or temporary Buffalo Public School teachers based on summer‑school seniority. - Scoring:
Must be New York State or Buffalo certified in the tenure area for which they are applying to score. Selection priority given as above. - Teachers are expected to serve the full term of the program.
Teachers agreeing to this position are committing to work the full duration of the program.
APPOINTMENTAppointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training, experience, certifications, credentials, and evaluation of service, including summer school seniority.
SALARYTeacher daily rate (1/200th) or hourly based on BTF contract.
FUNDINGPending funding.
