Key Qualifications and

Experience:
  • Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational environments
  • Proficiency in conducting psycho educational assessments and developing intervention plans
  • Strong knowledge of special education processes, including IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, educators, and administrators
  • Commitment to confidentiality, cultural competence, and ethical practice
  • Flexibility and organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret assessment results and recommend strategies
  • Develop and support the implementation of interventions, behavior plans, and individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Offer crisis intervention and ongoing counseling for students as needed
  • Facilitate professional development and offer consultative support to educational staff
  • Keep timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
