Location:
Itinerant Elementary School
The CSAT teacher communicates knowledge to students in an engaging and effective manner, using varied instructional methodologies and curriculum resources. The teacher collaborates with the instructional team, shares planning responsibilities, administers assessments, communicates with parents, and integrates technology into instruction.
- Implement school and district policies and procedures.
- Implement CSAT school performance standards.
- Collaborate with the team on curriculum and student needs.
- Create and maintain ongoing communication with parents.
- Develop curriculum and implement instructional strategies.
- Integrate technology into the instructional program and demonstrate professional use.
- Act as a coach or mentor to other teachers in areas of personal expertise.
- Instruction
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate student needs.
- Establish, nurture, and manage student‑directed classrooms that promote independent and group work.
- Develop and use rubrics for instruction and assessment to evaluate products and performances.
- Use technology tools for instruction, planning, and communication.
- Learn new uses and applications of technology tools.
- Classroom Management and Family/School Involvement
- Create and manage a responsive learning environment that enables students to feel safe, be creative, and develop to their full potential.
- Professional Responsibilities
- Write, implement, and evaluate your own professional development plan.
- Develop family‑school relationships that foster academic and social development of the child.
- Completed a Bachelor's in Education degree program with all required student‑teaching experiences.
- At least two years of classroom experience with a satisfactory rating.
- Three positive professional recommendations.
- Strong background in classroom instruction and pedagogical skills.
- Highly organized, independent worker with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with PLC (Professional Learning Communities) model.
- Superior teamwork and collaboration skills.
Pre‑Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1‑6 (Certification Code 3011).
