Associate Media Director
Crowley Webb is seeking a seasoned associate media director to join our dynamic team. This individual will be a key strategic leader, responsible for overseeing media strategy and fostering deep client partnerships. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of digital prowess and traditional media comprehension, coupled with the professional poise necessary to navigate high-level client engagements independently. We are looking for a forward-thinking leader who can drive results today while helping us navigate the organizational and technological transformations of tomorrow.
Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership:
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive media strategies that integrate digital performance tactics with local traditional media (broadcast, OOH, print) to meet diverse client objectives. - Client Relationship Management:
Act as the primary strategic lead and point of contact for key clients; independently manage relationships and build trust through expert consultation, proactive communication, and consistent delivery of results. - Professional Poise & Communication:
Present complex strategies and performance data to executive-level stakeholders with clarity and confidence. Navigate challenging conversations and high-pressure situations with a professional and solutions-oriented demeanor. - Media Innovation & AI:
Leverage emerging technologies and AI-driven tools to enhance media planning, optimize campaign performance, and drive operational efficiencies. - Team Mentorship:
Provide guidance and leadership to junior media team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Experience:
Minimum of eight years work experience in media planning and strategy, with a proven track record in both digital and local traditional media - Strategic Mastery:
Deep understanding of the full media funnel and the ability to build multi-channel and performance-centric strategies that move the needle - Client Ownership:
Demonstrated ability to manage high-value client relationships independently, from initial onboarding through long-term strategic growth - Communication
Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, characterized by professional poise and the ability to influence stakeholders - Transformation Mindset:
Experience or a strong interest in organizational transformation, specifically regarding how teams adapt to new technologies and workflows - AI Proficiency:
Adept with AI to elevate media strategies, audience segmentation, or campaign performance optimization is highly preferred - Presence:
Ability to work from our office location two to three days per week to facilitate collaboration and team culture - Media Tools:
Strong working knowledge of various media tools (e.g., Strata, Comscore, Nielsen, MRI-Simmons, and Scarborough) - Data Protection and Confidentiality:
Knowledge of (or willingness to learn about) data protection (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR) and maintaining confidentiality - Project Management and Negotiation
Skills:
Ability to effectively manage timelines and deadlines, confidently negotiate, and bring new ideas to the table

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually
