Summer String Enrichment Camp Music Teacher – Strings & Vocal – 2026. Hourly rate $3.5 per hour.
DatesTeacher set‑up:
July 10 (8:45–12:15). Student dates:
July 13–24 (8:45–12:15 Monday–Friday). Clean up:
July 27 (8:45–12:15).
PS 192 Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts (subject to change according to district needs).

Qualifications- New York State certification in Music.
- Priority given to qualified temporary/persistent/tenured/probationary Buffalo Public School teachers in order of summer seniority.
- Submit a copy of your NYS certification with name and certification area visible.
- Only current and active BPS employees earn summer seniority.
Provide support for small‑group lessons and large ensemble rehearsals, manage lesson schedules, maintain attendance and related records, prepare materials and resources, and support student musicians in developing performance and theory skills.
Important NoticeTeachers must serve the full term of the program. They are eligible to work in only one BPS summer program.
AppointmentAppointment made by the Board of Education upon recommendation of the Superintendent after assessment of training, experience, credentials, and service evaluation. Personal interviews may be scheduled where appropriate.
SalaryHourly rate as per current BTF contract.
