Fiscal Year  Position Summary

The School of Social Work at the University at Buffalo is searching for a faculty colleague in the area of aging/gerontology to join our school in a tenure-track faculty position as an Assistant or Associate Professor.

The successful candidate for this position will have:

* A doctorate in Social Work or a related discipline

* An MSW with practice experience

* An active research agenda

* Experience having taught social work courses in seated, online, and hybrid environments.

Duties include:

* Conducting fundable research.

* Teaching in the school's degree programs.

* Engaging in cross-disciplinary collaboration with university colleagues.

* Participating on school committees.

* PhD in social work, social welfare, or a related field

* MSW in social work or masters degree in a related field

* An active research agenda

Preferred Qualifications

* PhD in social work or social welfare

* MSW in social work with two years of post-masters degree experience in the area of gerontology/aging

* An active research agenda
