The Charter School for Applied Technologies (CSAT) opened its doors in 2001 as a 700-student school serving grades K-6. Today, CSAT is a busy campus consisting of three distinct buildings (Elementary, Middle and High Schools), that host approximately 2,300 students from 19 different school districts throughout WNY.

Job SummaryProvide administrative and clerical support to CSAT Career Readiness and RISE Behavioral teams. You will be a primary point of contact for students, families, and staff, assisting with scheduling, record keeping, data entry, communication, and office operations. You will help maintain accurate records for both teams, coordinate meetings and appointments, prepare reports and correspondence, and ensure confidential student information is handled appropriately.
- Assist the Career Readiness team in personalizing career-related internship and experiences for all students
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and documents
- Organize and manage student information related to career readiness
- Create and maintain systems that are efficient and supportive for the staff and students
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality with student records
- Address student behavioral infractions by administering minor disciplinary consequences limited to detention or referral to a Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS)
- Collect written documentation of incident reports from the originating staff member and/or classroom for further follow up
- Communicate and schedule detention and other minor consequences for violations of school-wide behavior expectations
- Data entry of all communication with parents and conveying infractions for documentation and scheduling
- Supervise a group of students in various activities
- A minimum of 2 years of clerical experience required
- Experience in a K-12 school preferred
- Knowledge of eSchool data or another student information system preferred
- Bilingual language and writing skills are preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, time-management skills and flexibility
