Per-Diem Teacher Substitutes
All Certification Areas Needed - Applications Accepted Continuously.
- Certified - must possess a valid NYS teaching certification
- Classroom teaching experience
- All positions must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education before employment processing (see attached)
Salary: $150 for certified substitutes
Non-certified applicants for teaching substitute positions should have at minimum:
- Bachelor's degree
- Classroom teaching experience
- Will only be allowed to work for 40 days/year per NYS Education Law.
Salary for non-certified substitutes: $130/day (pending Board Approval) - NON-CERTIFIED SUBS SHOULD APPLY UNDER JOB # - Non Certified Teacher
Note:
The district withholds the right to change substitute placements in the event of an emergency.
