Part-Time Teaching Assistant
Location:
Smallwood Drive School
Hours:
16.5 Hours/Week
Start Date:
September 8, 2026
Salary: $19.50/hour, plus payment for additional credit hours, if applicable
DescriptionThe Teaching Assistant will assist with routine classroom functions, assume teacher responsibilities, conduct classroom activities and assist with required paperwork in classrooms.
Qualifications- Teaching Assistants must have a Teaching Assistant Certification or NYS Teacher Certification or working towards either of these certifications.
- Must be fingerprinted by the NYS Department of Education Fingerprint Procedure - attached
- Experience working with elementary students preferred (K-5)
