Music Teacher

The West Seneca Central School District is seeking a full-time music teacher to provide vocal and general music instruction for students at the elementary grade levels. This position is a temporary appointment for the  school year with salary and benefits paid according to the West Seneca Teachers' Association collective bargaining agreement and commensurate with experience.

A music teacher is responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment and assisting every student in reaching his/her potential. Teachers are responsible for planning and preparation of their lessons; providing a safe classroom environment; leading effective instruction and participating in long-range planning which includes their own professional development.
