Position Title Assistant Professor, Tenure-Track Department of Educational Leadership and Policy
The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy (ELP) in the Graduate School of Education at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor. The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy is committed to improving evidence-based educational policy and creating educational environments for all students. UB’s Educational Administration program is committed to creating a collegial academic environment that is fundamentally concerned with culturally competent educational leaders throughout our three degree programs:
1) a two-year fully synchronous online school leadership certification program through our Leadership Initiative for Tomorrow’s Schools (LIFTS),
2) a three-year fully online Ed.D. in Educational Leadership program with both synchronous and asynchronous components, and
3) a department-wide in-person Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy.
The persistent challenges PK-12 schools face is a clear indication that educational leaders need to be able to support instructional innovations and shifts in professional development to meet the needs of all students in the 21st century. Further, our future colleague will explore ways to engage in curricular (re) design, program revision, and research-practice partnerships.
