Cast Member

City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support and one-on-one or small group tutoring in core subjects
• Mentor students to build social-emotional skills, attendance, and engagement
• Support teachers with classroom management and learning activities
• Lead or assist with after-school programs and enrichment activities
• Track and report student progress using program tools and data
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
• Corps team and school staff to support school-wide initiatives
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and leadership development sessions
• Engage families and community partners in student support activities
