The Maintenance Engineer participates in managing and maintaining all broadcast and technology related equipment within the facility.
* Help implement new technologies and technical infrastructure for the facility.
* Participate in engineering and other technical projects
* Evaluate, select, install, service, and maintain facility broadcast equipment and information technology systems
* Work closely with management and co-workers to ensure company objectives are being met
* Basic understanding of FCC rules and regulations.
* Other duties as needed
* Salary - $20.00 to $25.00 hourly

Requirements &

Skills:

* 2 years previous broadcast engineering experience.
* Broadcast equipment repair and maintenance skills required including experience with the repair and maintenance of video cameras, video routers, ingest and playout servers, newscast automation equipment.
* Possess superior troubleshooting skills.
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to work extended hours as needed may include overnight and weekends* ‘Be initiative-taking, desire to learn new skills consistent with good engineering/IT practices
