Senior Project Manager

A highly respected transportation engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to lead major transportation projects across New York State.

• Manage transportation and highway engineering projects from pursuit through delivery
• Serve as the primary client contact
  , overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and technical execution
• Lead and contribute to business development efforts
  , including client meetings, proposals, and presentations
• Provide technical leadership on roadway and transportation design projects
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior/mid-level staff
• Develop and strengthen relationships with public-sector transportation clients and stakeholders
• Help expand the firm’s presence across New York transportation markets

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 15+ years of transportation engineering and project management experience
• New York PE license required
• Experience delivering projects for NYSDOT, NYSTA, and Local Federal Aid programs
• Strong business development background and existing industry relationships
• Proven ability to win work, manage clients, and lead project teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• $150K–$195K base salary (depending on experience/location)
