We are currently hiring a Phase I Technical Reviewer to work with our growing Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) program with LaBella's Environmental Division. LaBella's Phase I ESA Environmental Due Diligence Program is one of the largest and most established in the northeast and is quickly expanding into other geographies throughout the eastern United States. LaBella's due diligence practice services a wide variety of clients consisting of municipalities, developers, attorneys, and financial institutions, each requiring client-centric, and sometimes creative solutions.
The size, expected growth, and geographies serviced by LaBella's Phase I ESA Environmental Due Diligence Program create a unique and exciting opportunity for the professional growth of the right candidate while working with some of the region's most experienced environmental professionals within the environmental due diligence/environmental consulting industry.
The successful candidate will focus primarily on the overall quality assurance and quality control of various environmental due diligence reports, including Phase I ESAs, Transaction Screens, and Records Search with Risk Assessments. The Phase I Technical Reviewer is responsible for report review and overall report quality, including verification of reviewed information and the identification of potential environmental liabilities such as Recognized Environmental Conditions and Potential Environmental Concerns.
This candidate should have overall familiarity with environmental due diligence processes and understand the implications of environmental risk for various clients.
In addition to technical review responsibilities, the Phase I Technical reviewer plays an integral role in the professional development of junior staff by sharing experience, providing technical oversight, and taking part in training and education initiatives.
Duties:
* Technical review and quality control for environmental due diligence deliverables, including Phase I ESAs, Transaction Screens, and RSRAs.
* Interact with senior environmental staff to evaluate environmental risk and postulate clear and client-centric conclusions/recommendations.
* Assist in the training, mentorship, and overall professional growth of Environmental Analysts spread among the eastern United States.
* Track and maintain project and deliverable schedules.
* Communicate with clients regarding technical and project-specific questions as warranted.
