Senior Product Design Engineer

• Lead the design and development of new products, from concept through to final production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including industrial designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure product feasibility and performance.
• Create detailed design specifications, including materials, processes, and manufacturing techniques.
• Utilize CAD software (such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, or Rhino) to create 3D models, prototypes, and technical drawings.
• Conduct product testing, analysis, and validation to ensure designs meet quality standards, safety regulations, and performance benchmarks.
• Optimize product designs for cost, manufacturability, and environmental sustainability.
• Lead design reviews and provide mentorship to junior design engineers.
• Ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables, managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial).
• Minimum of 4+ years experience in manufacturing environment.
• Proficient using Office
  365 applications, such as Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Training and demonstrated competency with APQP tools (i.e. D/PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP) preferred.
