You will serve as the technical voice for customer questions related to Post Process solutions or customer applications and parts, spanning sectors including automotive, aerospace, and medical.

You will also oversee the installation process, certify technicians or maintenance staff, and maintain the equipment under warranty or service contracts.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with customers to understand their applications and how Post Process Technologies solutions will work for those applications.
  • Provide application‑specific details to FINISH3D for processing benchmarks from the customer.
  • Nurture and maintain trusted‑advisor relationships from the benchmark process through site inspection, equipment installation, and post‑sale support.
  • Spend time in Buffalo learning and performing tasks to become fully knowledgeable on how hardware, software, and chemistry work together to achieve optimal post‑print results across additive manufacturing technologies.
  • Maintain regular post‑sale communication with each customer to ensure equipment utilization and generate consumable sales.
  • Assist in developing training materials, user guides, and maintenance procedures for customers and PPT employees.
  • Work with the Sales Team to identify key opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  • Serve as the technical liaison between the customer and FINISH3D, promoting continuous improvement in hardware, software, and chemistry.
  • Regularly update FINISH3D on new or advanced additive materials, processes, and applications, making recommendations for product improvements or new developments.
  • Conduct pre‑delivery customer site inspections to ensure installation requirements are met.
  • Install and integrate PPT solutions at customer facilities, administer Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Travel extensively within the U.S., maintaining flexibility for on‑call and on‑site customer support.
  • Attend trade shows and other significant customer events.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Understanding of additive manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Experience with process development, improvement, and implementation.
  • Knowledge of surface quality improvements to mechanical and chemical treatments.
  • Ability to write case studies and white papers supporting Post Process applications.
