- Performs technical discipline tasks related to bridge and bridge-related work including research, report preparation, design, and specification/plan preparation to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
- Assists with business development activities, including meeting with clients.
- Assists with preparing and coordinating proposal efforts to secure work.
- Provide mentoring and guidance for junior engineering staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
- 6+ years of bridge design experience.
- PE is a plus.
- Experience on NYSDOT and local administered federal aid transportation projects.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus.
- Proficiency with bridge design software.
- Knowledge of ASSHTO and NYSDOT specifications and standards.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal relationships skills.

Salary Range: $87,000 – $130,000
Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The salary offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
