Mackinnon Bruce International, an Executive Search Consultancy within the global Civil Infrastructure, Water and Wastewater industries, are working exclusively alongside a Top ENR Listed & nationally recognized leader within the Water, Wastewater and Engineering markets, who are looking to hire a Senior Engineer (Water/Wastewater) to join their growing team as part of a key strategic hire for their growing division due to continued project work in the region area.

The client

A Top ENR Listed & nationally recognized leader within the civil engineering heavily invested in within the Civil Engineering and Environmental Services industries across the USA.

Our client provides leading & innovative design and planning solutions to large and complex civil infrastructure, water, and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Location

This role will be based out of Buffalo, NY, with hybrid working an option.

Role & Responsibilities

This role is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognized leader, joining their expanding team, whilst leveraging your expertise and knowledge across Water and Wastewater, becoming a critical member of the team, contributing towards project development and execution, as well as supporting new and existing clients across the planning, design, and construction of Wastewater projects.

• Support the full project lifecycle across leading Wastewater projects including Municipal drinking water, wastewater facilities, wastewater treatment plants and more.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering calculations and analysis.
• Undertake the preparation and review of project documentation, bid packages, cost estimates and scopes of work.
• Leverage your technical knowledge to ensure project quality, schedule and budgets are met, meeting both internal and external standards and specifications.
• Ensure the coordination of multi-disciplinary designers to undertake and complete evaluations and designs.

Requirements

• Educated with a Bachelor of Science in a related field.
• Demonstrable experience across the Civil Engineering Design of Water and Wastewater projects in the USA
• P.E Certified
