Engineering Services Manager

Core Responsibilities

• Manage on-site engineering resources related to services such as laboratory, RMAS, airworthiness and configuration management.
• Develop engineering standards and tools, and contribute to homogenize processes across three different design offices to assure a high level of service performance.
• Be accountable for the Knowledge Management process at all stages of our product life cycle.
• Is responsible for engineering tools such as CAD, PLM, CFD, or customized tools.
• Identify, create, or update procedures/instructions with the help of the extended engineering team.
• Contribute to the skills strategy definition and its deployment.
• Act as Local Engineering Director Representative.

• Manage engineering services allocation, sizing and skills based on needs and priorities.
• Technical review and approval of engineering reports coming from his/her teams.
• Definition and update of local engineering department budget in coordination with engineering director and local management.
• Measure department performance through indicators and implement improvement plans in accordance with targets.
• Build and deploy the improvement plan established in coordination with the engineering management board.

Required:

BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering. MS in Engineering preferred.

Required:

10 years minimum engineering experience in an aerospace environment.
