Operations Manager
Core Responsibilities
- Manage on-site engineering resources related to services such as laboratory, RMAS, airworthiness and configuration management.
- Develop engineering standards and tools, and contribute to homogenize processes across three different design offices to assure a high level of service performance.
- Be accountable for the Knowledge Management process at all stages of our product life cycle.
- Is responsible for engineering tools such as CAD, PLM, CFD, or customized tools.
- Identify, create, or update procedures/instructions with the help of the extended engineering team.
- Contribute to the skills strategy definition and its deployment.
- Act as Local Engineering Director Representative.
- Manage engineering services allocation, sizing and skills based on needs and priorities.
- Technical review and approval of engineering reports coming from his/her teams.
- Definition and update of local engineering department budget in coordination with engineering director and local management.
- Measure department performance through indicators and implement improvement plans in accordance with targets.
- Build and deploy the improvement plan established in coordination with the engineering management board.
Employees in this job classification may be required to perform various other duties including but not limited to training, administration, and housekeeping.

QualificationsEducation
Required:
BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering. MS in Engineering preferred.
Required:
10 years minimum engineering experience in an aerospace environment.
- Requested technical skills:
- General mechanics.
- Dependability (FMEA, fault trees, etc.).
- Aeronautical development standards and aeronautical regulations.
- Nice to have technical skills:
- Electronics.
- Airworthiness.
- 6‑sigma qualification.
