Role OverviewAs an Electrical Design Engineer, Test Equipment in our Space & Defense Group in East Aurora, NY or Arvada, CO, you will design and develop hydraulic, electro‑hydraulic, electro‑mechanical, servo‑mechanism, and electro‑pneumatic components and systems for testing Moog products. You will contribute to the creation of test equipment to verify functional performance of products used on military, commercial, and space vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Operate as a key element in a team of creative, independent individuals.
- Contribute to the development of new test equipment through consulting with internal customers.
- Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses.
- Integrate electronic components into higher level systems and test completed designs.
- Prepare, support, and guide the work of Assembly and Test technicians supporting your development activities.
- Contribute on work estimates for design and development efforts.
- Maintain engineering records, changes made and effects of changes on performance.
- Independently initiate and perform specialized research.
- Create reliable designs through a comprehensive experimental development test program.
- Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports.
- Share values of teamwork and good communication.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- 3 years of hands‑on electrical design experience, preferably in test equipment, controls, or similar systems.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Self‑motivated, critical thinking and strong analytical skills.
- Experience with DOORS.
- Experience in the aerospace industry.

Buffalo, NY: $85,000.00–$ annually.

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range is one component of Moog's total compensation package.
