We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Permanent Director of Structural & Site Development. This role is critical to the success of our engineering projects and requires a dynamic leader who can oversee all aspects of structural and site development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on structural and site development.

They will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and other professionals, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of structural and site development, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance.
2. Lead a team of engineers and other professionals, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed.
3. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that all projects align with company goals and objectives.
4. Identify potential issues and develop effective solutions to address them.
5. Ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
6. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that all work is completed within budgetary constraints.
7. Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, challenges, and successes.
8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and implement improvements to processes, procedures, and systems.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in structural and site development, sharing this knowledge with team members and incorporating it into our work.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. would be an advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural and site development, with a particular focus on managing large, complex projects.
3. Proven leadership skills, with a track record of managing and motivating a team of professionals.
4. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a range of audiences.
6. A thorough understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in structural and site development.
7. Strong financial management skills, with experience managing large project budgets.
8. A commitment to continuous improvement, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
9. Proficiency in relevant software and technology, including CAD and project management tools.
