And this exciting A&A team, based in East Aurora, NY, is eagerly looking to welcome multiple skilled Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead Engineer, dedicated to supporting key development programs! As an IPT Lead Engineer - Development you will be supporting generational development programs, working closely with prime customers, suppliers and vendors on developing and delivering hardware that supports an advanced anti-ballistic missile defense system and the next-generation intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).With

broad technical autonomy, this role leads the review, design, development, and implementation of engineering systems or programs. Serving in an advisory or leadership capacity, it oversees complex problem-solving, guides staff, and develops multi-year plans to deliver compliant, a well-documented solution. Responsibilities also include ensuring integration, testing, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

As the primary technical contact, this position coordinates across teams, users, and external partners throughout the development cycle. It manages staffing and collaboration, anticipates future engineering needs, and supports business growth through new and expanded opportunities.
** To be considered for this IPT Lead Engineer - Development role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
*** Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows: 10 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 5 or more years of experience with a Master’s degree. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
* Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment and organize work assignments to meet established timetables.
* Strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Must be able to work extended hours as required and be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workloads.

Must have at least:
* 5 years of space system design experience.
* 3 years of experience in leading technical teams.
* Great interpersonal skills working in a team environment.
* Demonstrated engineering experience in the entire lifecycle of a program.
* Experience preparing for and presenting at customer reviews.
* Experience in risk management and earned value management.
* Experience in schedule development using Microsoft project.
* Familiarity with agile design processes.
