About the Opportunity

The Electrical Engineering Supervisor oversees the staff, safety, and productivity of the Electrical Engineering Department. This management level position also includes responsibility for productivity, volume, budget adherence, quality, technology innovation, staff development, and continuous improvement.

  • Perform work primarily as a Supervisor/Company leader and secondarily as an individual contributor.
  • As an individual contributor, will perform work which sets the bar for the group as well as the organization.
  • As a leader, you will develop standard work process and procedures.
  • Directly responsible for monitoring and improving the project deliverables, timelines, and milestones to increase efficiency, production, quality, and volume.
  • Ensure the work of subordinates and subcontractors meets quality, code compliance, and consistency.
  • Ensure designs and installations meet all applicable codes.
  • Work closely with Project Management, Customers, and Supply Chain Partners to execute orders efficiently and profitably from initial specifications, design, procurement, test, programming, installation, commissioning, and optimization.
  • Work closely with the Service Department and directly with Customers to promote and deliver after-Sales support, training, and customization's.
  • Devise and maintain a system of data management that aligns with overall Company strategies to ensure that working data and as-sold data is secure, organized, and properly maintained.
  • Work in a highly organized and efficient manner with a very customer-centric focus.
  • Travel up to 20%, including internationally.

    What You'll Bring
    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • 3 years of proven leadership experience
    • 5 years of Electrical design experience performing calculations and using AutoCAD.
    • 5 years of experience with Allen Bradley hardware and software; RSLogix 500/5000, RSView, Motor Control Centers, PLC's Drives, etc. Or equivalent
    • 5 years of experience designing and implementing networks such as Ethernet, Device Net, Control Net, Modbus, Profibus, or similar.
    • 5 years of experience designing and working with high voltage systems.
