Job DescriptionAnalysis & Reporting: responsible for the generation of internal reporting of clinical/financial/operational data. Gathers and interprets relevant information, develops the analyses and reports out to support system initiatives. Performs other assigned tasks including trend analysis, product line reporting, payroll analysis and special projects as needed. Advises and trains other analysts. Analyzes and interprets financial and statistical reports using historical and budget data, makes recommendations.
Proactively contributes to the refinement of the reporting process and provides in-depth analysis and expertise. Performs analytics of advanced complexity, with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations on analyses and provide recommendations to key stakeholders.
Budgeting and Long-Term Planning: responsible for the build‑out and modification of the budget during all phases. Maintains proficiencies in understanding the construction and interconnectivities of the budget, making adjustments as needed to general ledger/payroll/statistical models to drive the budget process to completion. Creates and analyzes monthly budget reports, volume/pricing trends, budget‑to‑actual variances and other ad‑hoc reports. Assists in the long‑term planning process.
Acts as a subject matter expert and consistently improves processes.
Data Management: responsible for maintaining Kaleida's internal reporting databases and data tables, including iterative updates and audits. Acts as a consultant with internal stakeholders to initiate, coordinate and provide knowledge using available data and analytical tools. Creates audit reporting and refines methodologies to maintain the integrity of the databases and ensure accurate data is being provided. Maintains primary ownership of specific functions and on occasion oversees analysts for the purpose of reviewing work product, training and feedback.
Educationand Credentials
BA – Bachelor of Arts in Finance, Accounting, IT or related field required.
MBA – Master of Business Administration in Finance, Accounting, IT or related field preferred.
Experience8 years of experience in database management, finance, accounting, payroll or budget required.
3 years of experience in Eclipsys, EPSi or other Healthcare EMR and/or reporting programs required.
3 years of experience in health care industry required.
8 years of experience in Microsoft Office including MS Excel advanced functions required.
8 years of experience in General Ledger, Revenue and Billing, Payroll and Procurement systems required, coupled with data modeling, relational databases and health data analytics required.
8 years of experience in Budgeting software, decision support database management and/or working with large sets of data preferred.
