Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Financial Advisor role based in Buffalo, NY. The Financial Advisor will provide personalized financial planning and advisory services to clients, with a strong focus on the needs and goals of women and women‑owned businesses. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include assessing client financial situations, developing comprehensive financial plans, recommending investment and retirement strategies, and helping clients understand insurance and tax‑efficient planning options.

The role involves ongoing portfolio review, monitoring progress toward client goals, and adjusting strategies as needed. The Financial Advisor will also collaborate on business succession planning, facilitate client education sessions, and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships through regular meetings and clear communication.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to design and communicate holistic strategies tailored to individual client goals.
  • Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments skills to analyze portfolios, manage risk, and recommend appropriate investment solutions.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in Retirement Planning to help clients prepare for long‑term financial security and transition planning.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFP®, CFA, ChFC) or progress toward these designations are highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and client relationship skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.
  • High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a commitment to client‑centered, fiduciary‑focused advice.
  • Experience working with women clients and/or women‑owned businesses, and an interest in supporting financial independence and generational wealth.
