PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assist with the preparation of rate/tariff updates and applicable rate compliance filings for across each of the utility’s jurisdictions.
- Analyze and review internal reporting of customer rates and revenue trends.
- Support regulatory accounting and reporting process, including tracking of activity subject to rate making mechanisms, preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of regulatory deferral accounts.
- Develop and update utility revenue forecasts and revenue requirement models.
- Monitor and communicate rate making developments occurring in regulatory proceedings and peer rate cases across the Company’s jurisdictions
- Commensurate with experience, help advance the Company’s interests in state proceedings, including the preparation of expert testimony, exhibits and supporting data requests for rate cases.
- Oversee the core responsibilities listed above, and commensurate with experience, support the management and continued advancement of departmental objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
- 3-5 years’ work experience in financial modeling and analysis, and/or regulatory/financial accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong quantitative analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask with efficiency and accuracy to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:The base salary range for this position is $62,500 – 90,000.
This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills.
The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
