Actuarial Analyst II Overview:

Wayspring is seeking a driven and analytically curious Actuarial Analyst to play a key role in building and expanding our actuarial reporting and analytics function. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Actuarial Services, this is a unique opportunity to gain exposure across the full spectrum of actuarial work while helping shape a growing healthcare organization that is transforming care for individuals with substance use disorder (SUD).

This position is ideal for a candidate actively pursuing their ASA or FSA designation and looking for meaningful experience beyond traditional actuarial roles. You'll work on high-impact initiatives including healthcare cost modeling, reserve development, pricing strategy, trend analysis, program savings evaluation, and IBNR reporting. Rather than being confined to a narrow specialty, you'll develop a broad actuarial foundation while partnering with leaders across finance, operations, population health, and executive leadership.

If you're looking for a role where your analysis directly influences business decisions, healthcare outcomes, and organizational growth, we'd love to meet you.

Why Wayspring?

We are passionate about breaking barriers alongside those facing substance use disorder. Whether you’re in the field or in the corporate office – our mission is felt, and your impact is recognized. There is no inner circle, and we all have a seat at the table. Leaders are accessible and silos are avoided. We respect your craft and love to be challenged.

We invest not only in our mission, but in each other. Internal promotions and cross departmental training are the norm – you grow, we grow.
