Corporate Planning Intern | Rich Products Corporation
The Tone:
This is an internship at Rich Products Corporation. Rich’s is a family-owned food company that manufactures a diverse range of products, from cakes and icings to pizza and appetizers, inspiring possibilities for homes, restaurants, and bakeries globally. This role is crucial for supporting the Finance/Corporate Planning Department by providing essential financial reporting and analysis, contributing to competitive insights and operational efficiency.

Finance/Corporate Planning Department - Mission:
Support financial operations through reporting, analysis, and process enhancement for timely and accurate financial insights. - Tech Stack:
Oracle/Hyperion tools, SAP, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint), AI
- Standard Reporting:
Consolidate, summarize, and analyze corporate budget versus actual spend reports, then communicate these findings to various leaders. - Financial Close Assistance:
Load and verify actual and forecasted data for newly acquired companies into reporting systems. - Flash Forecast Reporting:
Consolidate and prepare presentation decks for Total Food Group flash forecast reporting. - Ad-hoc Analysis:
Perform specific analysis for various finance requests using Oracle/Hyperion tools and SAP. - Model Development:
Develop models utilizing AI to streamline and enhance monthly reporting and forecasting processes.
- Background:
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, MIS, or a related field. - Experience:
Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and a general understanding of accounting and U.S. GAAP. - Skills:
Strong financial acumen, problem-solving abilities, interpersonal communication skills, and critical thinking capabilities are essential. - Bonus:
Experience with AI, Oracle BI tools, and SAP is preferred, but not required.
